Reggae Band Groovemaster to Perform at Music at the Market

The Northwest-Ohio based reggae band Groovemaster, featuring Perrysburg resident Gaylord Richardson, will take the stage at Music at the Market, Thursday, August 9, 7 p.m., at 140 E. Indiana, Commodore Square, Perrysburg. Presented by the Perrysburg Area Arts Council (PAAC), and sponsored by the City of Perrysburg, the event is free and open to the public.
Formed in 1988, Groovemaster has been consistently pleasing audiences all over Ohio with their brand of root-style and dance-hall reggae. Groovemaster has appeared before standing-room only crowds such as Howard's Club H and Easy Street in Bowling Green, Splash and the Empire Ballroom in Cleveland, Mother's Junction in Kent, Ohio, and Frankie's and Shooter's Waterfront Cafe' in Toledo. The band also has performed as the headliner for a concert organized by Amnesty internaitonal and opened Toledo's first reggae Rally by the River.
Grab a chair or blanket and enjoy an evening of summer relaxation! In the case of rain, the event will move inside to the Commodore Building on site.
