Central Catholic Irish Basketball Open
On September 16, the Central Catholic High School Fighting Irish basketball program will hold its inaugural golf outing, the Irish Basketball Open. All proceeds will go toward providing equipment, materials, and supplies for both the men’s and women’s basketball programs at Central Catholic.
The entry fee is $50 per player and includes greens fee and cart, food and beverage. This is a two-person scrambles event with four flights available – championship, first, ladies, and seniors (age 60 and over). It will be held at Hidden Hills Golf Club, 4900 County Road 16 in Woodville, Ohio. Shotgun starts are at 8:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
Prizes will be awarded for the winning team in each division, as well as for longest putt, longest drive, and closest to the pin. The event also includes skins and mulligans, betting holes, a 50/50 raffle, silent auction items, and a door prize for everyone.
