Fall in love with your new best friend at the Toledo Area Humane Society. Now through the end of October, adoption fees will be falling at the Humane Society to help increase adoptions and find more animals their forever homes.
Beginning October 18 through Wednesday, October 24 adoption fees on all dogs over the age of 6 months old are falling to $75, all cat and kitten adoption fees are falling to $50 and all pocket pet adoption fees are falling to $10. (On Tuesdays and Fridays, the “$10 Tuesday” and $5 Friday” cat/kitten adoption fees will override the “Fall in Love” adoption prices.)
Then, beginning October 25 through October 31 adoption fees are falling again – all dogs over the age of 6 months will fall to $50, all cat and kitten adoption fees will fall to $25 and all pocket pet will fall to just $5!.
The Toledo Area Humane Society is reducing prices in an effort to help as many animals find their forever homes as possible, especially as the end of the ASPCA $100K Challenge draws near. TAHS has already exceeded their adoption goal for the three-month period and is continuing their efforts at a chance to win $100,000 in prize money that would allow them to help even more animals in this community.
Currently, the second round of voting for the Challenge is underway and TAHS is asking friends and supporters to vote for them daily at www.VoteToSaveLives.org. Voting takes place through October 31. If the group is one of the top three vote-getters in the country, they could be eligible for an additional $25,000 grant prize which would also benefit their mission.
The Toledo Area Humane Society is open Tuesday through Friday from 11am – 7pm and Saturday and Sunday from 10am – 6pm. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization they are committed to the welfare of animals by providing temporary shelter and care while seeking permanent homes. Donations from local individuals, corporations and monies generated by fundraisers and earned revenue are a major source of funding for the Toledo Area Humane Society.
