Spaghetti Dinner Benefit for Nightingales Harvest

Nightingales Harvest is a local non-profit food bank that provides services to cancer families throughout Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan. Currently they provide food, toiletries, and other essentials that cancer families need, but might not be able to afford otherwise. Nightingales Harvest is looking to expand their services that they provide by implementing a “Meals on Wheels” program. When several business students from the University of Toledo learned about Nightingales Harvest and their need for a new kitchen they immediately jumped at the opportunity to help out. What started out as a social responsibility project for their business management class quickly turned into a fundraiser spaghetti dinner that will be held on Sunday, October 28, 2012 from 2:00 – 6:00 PM at St. James Lutheran Church located at 4727 Sylvania Avenue in Toledo, Ohio. They will be holding a silent auction and 50/50 raffle during the dinner. For more information about this fundraiser or to make a donation please contact Lisa Eisenbach at (419) 779-2961.
