Launch Pad presents Featured Lines Reading Series
Launch Pad Cooperative is pleased to present Brenna Dugan as the guest reader for the Featured Lines reading series November 13, 2012. Each month a different writer or poet will have the opportunity to present an extended reading at the gallery followed by a question and answer session. The aim of this reading series is to shine the spotlight on a single writer; providing them with the platform to present a body of work and the necessary time to engage and connect with the audience.
Brenna Dugan currently teaches writing, reading and literature at Owens Community College. Before starting these jobs, she spent several years living in China, where she taught English and edited textbooks. She was also a frequent contributor to a blog for expats. Her poems have appeared in The Smoking Poet, Pathways, Dash, American Poets Abroad, Italics and Flatlands. Her chapbook Postcards was published by Paper Airplane Press. She has given poetry readings in Kentucky, Michigan and Ohio.
Featured Lines is free and open to the public. Doors open at 7:30pm. Readings begin at 8:00pm.
