Craft In and Handmade Holiday at Sanger Branch
On Saturday, December 1, the Toledo-Lucas County Public Library’s Sanger Branch, 3030 W. Central Ave., is kicking off the month of December by hosting two events! A Craft In from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. where patrons can bring in their unfinished craft projects to work on and share your creative ideas (finished or unfinished) with other crafters, and also a Handmade Holiday from 2-3 p.m., a hands-on workshop with Claudia Cooper, who will show patrons how to create a beautiful ornament out of an Altoid tin.
Craft In – (10 a.m. to 5 p.m.):
· Bring your unfinished craft projects to work on and share your creative ideas with other crafters. Join us for a real Pinterest experience! Have too many of or no longer need a certain craft supply? A supply swap area will be set up for you to exchange for something new. Join us for an afternoon of crafting, sharing and swapping.
Handmade Holiday – (2-3 p.m.):
· Want to give thoughtful and appreciated gifts and cards for your holiday celebrations without spending a fortune? This hands-on workshop with Claudia Cooper will show you how to create a beautiful ornament out of an Altoid tin. Other creative craft ideas will be on display using everyday objects like newspaper, coffee filters and more.
