TOLEDO, OH (December 4, 2012) – Maumee Valley Country Day School presents Food For Thought, by Molly Thompson the Founder of Feeding Creativity, an organic consulting firm committed to working with communities to propel cultural and economic shifts by changing how people relate to food.

Molly is an internationally published author of I Am Diva: Every Woman’s Guide to Outrageous Living. She has an MBA from the University of Michigan and a BA in French from St. Lawrence University. Molly is currently serving on the Advisory Committee of Owens Community College’s Urban Agriculture program in Northwest Ohio. She is a Board Member of WeForest U.S. and an Executive Committee Member of the Women's Initiative of the United Way of Greater Toledo. She is also a participant in Slow Food and Les Dames d'Escoffier International. Molly Thompson is the recipient of the 2012 recipient of the Toledo Botanical Garden's Crosby Award, which recognizes women who make a significant difference in the quality of life in the community through support and advocacy of gardens, the arts, nature or education.
