Metroparks will again partner with the Toledo Lucas County Public Library to present the Oak Openings Research Forum, an annual update on a year's worth of research.
The amazing Oak Openings Region of northwest Ohio will be in the spotlight Saturday, January 26 starting at 9:30 a.m. during the daylong forum in McMaster Center at Main Branch Library.

Participants will enjoy presentations and posters from researchers about rare plants, insects, birds, amphibians, ecology, geology and other topics.
Keynote speaker Dr. Richard Bradley, associate professor emeritus at The Ohio State University, will present “Spider Diversity in Ohio and the little known Oak Openings Fauna.”

Cost to attend is $30, which includes lunch, materials and parking in the library garage on Adams Street. (If you would like a vegetarian lunch option please make a note at the time of registration.)
