Free showing of movie

In observance of Black History month, Way Library is pleased to present a free showing of the fim "Sounder" on Sunday, February 17 at 2 pm on the library's main level. In this drama, set in rural Louisiana during the Great Depression, a family of African American sharecroppers pulls together to survive after the father is jailed for stealing food to feed his family. A short discussion will follow the film. Please join us for this special Black History Month presentation. Admission and refreshments are free.
