2nd Annual Teen Digital Collage Contest
The Toledo-Lucas County Public Library’s Popular Teen department announces its 2nd Annual Teen Digital Collage Contest scheduled March 11 through April 6.
Details:
This contest is open to teens in grades 6-12. Create a photo collage using five photo images depicting one or more of the following themes:
·Fur, Feathers, Fins
·High Tech, Low Tech
·Hot Spots
·Something Blue
·Wheels
Images can be original photos or copyright-free photos you find on the Web. Entries should be submitted to [email protected] include your name, your grade, your phone number and your library branch in the e-mail.
Only one entry per teen.
Collage entries must be submitted by 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 6.
All entries will be judged for artistry, creativity and interpretation of the theme(s) used.
The grand prize and branch prizes awarded will be gift certificates.
The Library reserves the right to disqualify entries that utilize inappropriate images.
Upon submission of your collage, you agree that any subject in that collage (or the subject’s parent or guardian if under the age of 18) has granted permission to use his/her image in your collage.
All collages become the sole property of the Toledo-Lucas County Public Library upon submission. Entering the contest waives your right to the collage and any future inspection and/or approval of future use by the Toledo-Lucas County Public Library. Collages entered could subsequently be used in other means of communication (including but not limited to marketing efforts and advertising via Web, print, video, audio or television) by the Toledo-Lucas County Public Library.
