Sylvania Southview Presents 'Beauty and the Beast
It's a tale as old as time: Southview Theatre will present the Disney musical "Beauty and the Beast" April 25-27 at 7:30 p.m. and April 28 at 2:30 p.m. The performance will be held at Southview High School, 7225 Sylvania Avenue. More than one hundred cast, crew and orchestra students will tell the story of a handsome prince who is transformed into a hideous beast as punishment for his selfish actions. To become human again, the Beast must earn the love of a beautiful young woman that he imprisons in his castle, or else remain a beast forever. Tickets are $8 for students and seniors; $10 for adults. Reserved seating is also available for $20.
