Way Library offers free screening of "It's A Great Feeling"
Way Library concludes its 2012-2013 Reel Talk classic film series with the 1949 film, “It’s a Great Feeling” on Thursday, April 11 at 10:00 a.m. This musical-comedy stars the still-very-much-alive singer with the dream in her voice, Doris Day. The plot involves an attempt by Dennis Morgan and Jack Carson to land Doris a part in a movie. Set on the Warner Brothers lot, there’s a surprise in every scene as the film is loaded with cameo appearances by such luminaries as Gary Cooper, Joan Crawford, Patricia Neal, Danny Kaye and a host of other recognizable faces from the golden age of film.
Rudolph Schroeder, a Maumee resident, pen and ink artist, and lifelong film buff will be the special guest speaker.
Admission and refreshments are offered free of charge.
