Toledo Rep announces upcoming performances
REP’S DEATH OF A SALESMAN PLAYS FINAL WEEKEND Toledo Rep’s production of Death of a Salesman continues its run for one final weekend, Thursday through Saturday night, April 25 to 27 at 8:00 pm and Sunday, April 28 at 2:30. The Pulitzer Prize winning drama penned by Arthur Miller follows Willy Loman, who in his failed struggles for the American Dream has lost sight of everything that matters. Profound and tragic, this beautifully crafted and timeless story is just as relevant today as it was more than half a century ago. Directed by F. Scott Regan, Death of a Salesman features an all-star cast including Michael Searle as Willy Loman, Suzanne Jennens as Linda Loman, and Matt Kizaur and Jeff Sneed as the Loman brothers Biff and Happy. AUDITIONS ANNOUNCED FOR YOUNG REP’S FIDDLER ON THE ROOF Auditions for Toledo Rep’s Young Rep production of Fiddler on the Roof will be held Saturday, May 4 at 1:00 at the Tenth Street stage. Directed by Rosie Best, the Young Rep production is open to youth, age 14 to 19. Performances are scheduled July 18 to 21. MOMOLOGUES CLOSES REP’S SPECIAL EVENT SERIES Mother’s Day weekend marks the final installment of the Toledo Rep’s Special Event Series with a unique salute to moms. The MOMologues, written by Lisa Rafferty, Stefanie Cloutier, and Sheila Eppolito, directed by Elizabeth Cottle, and featuring Laura Crawford, Angie Patchett, Susan Korecki, and Joy Vorraber is a series of recollections and reflections on motherhood set to comic timing, and a perfect way to say “thank you” to moms everywhere. Performances are Thursday through Saturday night, May 9 through 11 at 8:00 PM and a special Mother’s Day matinee on Sunday, May 12 at 2:30.
