Toledo Rep Announces Upcoming Events
AUDITIONS ANNOUNCED FOR YOUNG REP’S FIDDLER ON THE ROOF Auditions for Toledo Rep’s Young Rep production of Fiddler on the Roof will be held Saturday, May 4 at 1:00 at the Rep, located at 16 Tenth Street. Directed by Rosie Best, the Young Rep production is open to youth, age 14 to 19. Performances are scheduled July 18 to 21. For more information, visit toledorep.org. MOMOLOGUES CLOSES REP’S SPECIAL EVENT SERIES Mother’s Day weekend marks the final installment of the Toledo Rep’s Special Event Series with a unique salute to moms. The MOMologues, written by Lisa Rafferty, Stefanie Cloutier, and Sheila Eppolito, directed by Elizabeth Cottle, and featuring Laura Crawford, Angie Patchett, Susan Korecki, and Joy Vorraber is a series of recollections and reflections on motherhood set to comic timing, and a perfect way to say “thank you” to moms everywhere. Performances are Thursday through Saturday night, May 9 through 11 at 8:00 PM with a special Mother’s Day matinee on Sunday, May 12 at 2:30. The Toledo Rep is located at 16 Tenth Street in downtown Toledo. GUYS AND DOLLS JR. AUDITIONS ANNOUNCED Auditions for the Toledo Rep’s Young Rep production of Guys and Dolls Jr. will be held on Saturday, May 18 at 2:00 PM at the Rep, located at 16 Tenth Street. This production is open to youth ages 7 to 13. Performances are scheduled for August 8-11. Performers will be given a cold reading and are asked to prepare 16 bars of an upbeat song and be dressed prepared to move. For more information please visit toledorep.org.
