Kickstarter-funded Feature Film to Shoot in Toledo

Toledo-based production company Low Fidelity Productions (http://www.lowfidelityproductions.com) has launched a Kickstarter campaign (http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/lowfidelity/market-correction-a-feature-film) to fund their independent feature film, Market Correction (http://www.marketcorrectionmovie.com), which will be shot here in Toledo.

In days where drones are in the headlines, Market Correction is a timely story of the anonymous foot soldiers who, in secret, do the bloody bidding of the One Percent. Now, the killers have a new weapon. Protecting the powerful and removing their enemies from the world has become as simple as a single push of a button.

Low Fidelity is seeking a budget of $100,000, miniscule by Hollywood standards, but enough to allow them to pay their cast and crew and independently produce a movie that rivals the quality of Hollywood studio productions.

The Market Correction screenplay was written by Ann Arbor author Jonathan Watkins, whose Bright and Fletcher mystery series (http://www.amazon.com/Motor-City-Shakedown-Bright-Fletcher/dp/1482625768) is currently in development at CBS Television. Toledo-native Brady Kesling (http://www.bradykesling.com), who founded Low Fidelity Productions in 2001, is producing and will direct. And award-winning Toledo filmmaker Thomas Hofbauer (http://www.midwestfilmguy.com/) is on board as Assistant Director.
