Way Library to show 'Lincoln' on Tuesday, August 6

Way Public Library will host a free showing of the recent feature film ‘Lincoln’ on Tuesday, August 6 at 2 p.m. on the library’s lower level. Directed by Steven Spielberg, this acclaimed film is a gripping account of the final days of the Civil War, as time was running out on President Abraham Lincoln’s historic bid to abolish slavery. Daniel Day Lewis won the 2013 Best Actor Oscar for his mesmerizing portrayal of our sixteenth president.

This free, adults-only event is part of Way Library’s ‘Show Me the Movie’ contemporary film series which is sponsored by Skotynsky Financial Group, LLC.

Reservations are not needed, and light refreshments will be served.
