"Guys & Dolls, Jr." August 8-11
The Toledo Repertoire Theatre’s Young Rep will present Guys and Dolls, Jr. Thursday, August 8 through Sunday, August 11. The cast ranging in age from 7-13 bring to life a host of colorful characters in Damon Runyon’s New York City which include Broadway’s beloved personalities such as Sky Masterson, a smooth-talking, high-rolling gambler; Sarah Brown, the virtuous and attractive Save-A-Soul Mission leader; Miss Adelaide, a spirited nightclub dancer and her devoted fiancé of 14 years, Nathan Detroit, who runs an illegal floating dice game, plus many others. More than 50 local youth join the Rep from Northwest Ohio to Southeast Michigan to collaborate their artistic talents on this classic musical production directed by Eileen Eddy and choreographed by Alana Eddy. The show will begin at 7 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 2:30 p.m. on Sunday. All performances will be held on the Toledo Rep’s main stage at 16 10th Street, Toledo.
