Locals know (and visitors soon learn) there is no finer dining anywhere than right here in the Toledo area. No matter what type cuisine you are seeking there is bound to be a place just for you, and the best establishments are locally owned and operated by your friends and neighbors.
Previously, the independent restaurateurs in our area did not have a unified method of conveying the value they offer to their patrons or a way to let patrons know that they truly are independently owned and operated.
Eat Local Toledo is a newly formed consortium of independently owned and operated restaurants in the greater Toledo area dedicated to preserving the unique flavor that defines Toledo. A vibrant, local, independent restaurant community increases our region’s strength and overall quality of life.
Members of Eat Local Toledo will be engaging in joint marketing efforts to provide greater exposure for its members and great eating options for patrons, including substantial meal discounts through the ELT Certificate Card Deck.
For the benefit of visitors as well as local residents, ELT will be producing and distributing the Little Black Book of Toledo, an essential guide to dining at member restaurants in the area.
