Mott Branch Library Public Meeting Notice
This is a notice of a public meeting scheduled at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, September 17 to inform the Mott Branch Library and surrounding neighborhood of the temporary closure of approximately 150 feet of Forest Avenue from Dorr Street to the alley, as well as the intent of a permanent closure of that section of street.
The closure is being considered to provide the Toledo-Lucas County Public Library the opportunity to completely renovate and expand the Mott Branch Library. The public meeting will take place at Mott Branch Library, 1085 Dorr St.
The purpose of the temporary closure is to study the impact that a permanent closure may have on the traffic patterns and driver behavior in the surrounding neighborhood.
The initiation of the closure is scheduled to follow the September 17 meeting, which is open to the public. You are invited to attend.
