81st Sseason with Forbidden Broadway's Greatest Hits Sept. 13th

The Toledo Repertoire Theatre opens its 81st season with the satirical, musical revue “Forbidden Broadway’s Greatest Hits,” this weekend on the 10th Street Stage. The show runs two weekends with a total of seven performances beginning Friday, September 13 through Sunday, September 22. Thursday through Saturday shows begin at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2:30 p.m. Directed by Debra Ross Calabrese, the cast features the talents of Kimberly Bright, Bridget Harrington, J. Heath Huber, Brock Jaworski, Devin Krueger and Katelyn Lesle spoofing a variety of Broadway characters and performers from acclaimed productions such as “Les Miserables,” “Chicago,” “Wicked,” “Mamma Mia!,” “Rent,” “Spamalot,” “Annie” and so much more. Toledo Rep Ed classes to begin Sept. 14

The Toledo Repertoire Theatre Rep Ed classes start up again on September 14 and run through November 2, 2013 with the theme “Reelin’ and Rockin’.” There is still room for more students. Children ages 7 to 16 are invited to participate, receiving instruction in singing, dancing, acting, and theater basics. At the end of the session, the children perform in a showcase to demonstrate to family and friends what they have learned. Classes are held at the 10th Street Theatre Saturday mornings from 9 a.m. to noon. Students will receive a free t-shirt on show day. The eight-week course is $100 per student.
