Free Concert featuring the New York Staff Band
The Salvation Army in Northwest Ohio is proud to be hosting The Salvation Army’s New York Staff Band on Friday, October 18, 2013. The New York Staff Band has a reputation of being one of the finest brass bands in the world. The free concert will start at 7:00 pm at the Westgate Chapel located at 2500 Wilford Drive, Toledo. The concert will be open to anyone who would like to attend and will be family friendly. A free will offering will take place to benefit The Salvation Army. The Salvation Army’s New York Staff Band celebrated its 125 anniversary last year in 2012. Its mission is to bring public awareness to the work of The Salvation Army, to support fund raising efforts, and to provide a model of ministry and music making.
