From Darkroom to Computer and Beyond
WHAT:
Margaret Lockwood-Lass, area artist and Owens digital photo instructor, will present a two-part workshop on how to digitally documenting artwork for exhibit entry, web pages and professional portfolios. Part one concentrates on camera capture, while part two discusses computer enhancement and file management. Each session can be taken separately for $15 each or together for $25. Owens students receive free entry to the workshop.
Artists attending the workshop are encouraged to bring their artwork to have it professionally documented by Owens Photo Club members. Rates for a studio set-up start at $20 per set up, with a sliding scale for multiple pieces using the same set-up. Quotes will be provided before work begins. This is a fundraising event for Owens Photo Club. All funds earned will assist in the professional development of the photography students.
