Garden Smiles by Carruth and Silver Lining Gallery are proud to announce a traveling fundraiser for The Victory Center on October 17th from 5PM- 8PM. The event will travel between the two stores, located on Mechanic Street in Waterville, Ohio.
For 17 years, The Victory Center has been a one of a kind resource in northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan for people living with all types of cancer, their caregivers, and family members. The Victory Center takes great pride in providing safe, effective complementary services in a comfortable, homelike setting and believe people can benefit from non-medical, supportive services that augment traditional cancer treatment.
“Vino, Vittles In The ‘Ville” will feature appetizers at the Silver Lining Gallery, a fire pit for marshmallow roasting and conversation, and desserts at Garden Smiles. Wine, hot mulled cider and coffee will be offered in both locations. Local bluegrass band, Deepwater, will provide entertainment.
Both Garden Smiles and Silver Lining will have door prize giveaways throughout the event and will be selling raffle tickets for the grand prize, a Carruth Garden Stone. 10 percent of the proceeds of the event and 100 percent of the proceeds from raffle sales will be donated to The Victory Center.
