Students Walk Downtown for the Power of Pink
Toledo School for the Arts cover the Courthouse lawn in pink
On Friday, September 27, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. over 400 students from Toledo School for the Arts (TSA) will surround the Lucas County Courthouse dressed in pink for "Missing You Now That You're Gone" breast cancer memories.
TSA students and staff wanted a way to show their support for survivors and victims of breast cancer. For the past week the halls of the school have been filled with students and staff dressed in pink. On Friday they will be taking it to the streets. Starting at the school, students will walk down both sides of Adams Street and fill the sidewalk around the Courthouse. Two student vocalists; Aria Machinski and Hailie Hagedorn that will be accompanied by acoustic guitarists and a large group of students playing flip cups. They will be performing the song "You're Gonna Miss Me." All are asked to dress in pink for breast cancer awareness!
To catch over 400 teens from 6th to 12th grade doing good, please join us.
