8th Annual DYS Sweet Success Gala is Friday
What: Diabetes Youth Services’ (DYS) Sweet Success Fundraising Gala
When: Friday, Oct. 25, from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m.
Where: Hilton Garden Inn, Levis Commons, Perrysburg, Ohio
Details: This fundraising gala will feature dinner, a cash bar and silent and live auctions for such items as vacation rentals, sports tickets and memorabilia, and food, wine and jewelry packages. The event is presented by ProMedica Toledo Children’s Hospital, and John E. Brunner, M.D., is the 2013 Honorary Chair.

The Sweet Success Gala helps to fund educational programs and services for more than 3,000 children living with type 1 diabetes in Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan. DYS focuses on teaching children and their families how to manage their diabetes on a daily basis. Unique services include Hot Shot Camps, school support and Nurse Educator outreach, along with family programs and events.
