Holiday Lantern Tours at Archbold's Sauder Village
You know what's coming next, after Halloween? C'mon, Toledo! It's time to get in the Christmas spirit!
It Is True
We are coming up on the most wonderful time of the year, and it's time to stroll back in time at Sauder Village. This warm tradition continues this year with Sauder Village lighting the way with the quiet flickering of lanterns adorning the streets - and the magic of the seasons filling the air.
Call your friends and family together, and take the small tours of approximately 14 people, or join in with other folks who are out for a night on the town enjoying the ambiance and holiday spirit. Either way, this is surely an evening that will delight.
Meet and Greet
Historical characters from the turn of the century will delight and be dressed to the nines in their holiday garb. They will welcome and guide you with authentic spirit into the 1910 Homestead, the District 16 Schoolhouse, Elmira Depot, and St. Mark's Church. This interactive evening will be filled with wonderful tales and details of Christmases from yesteryear.
As the tour winds down, you'll find yourself in St. Mark's surrounded by song and hymn. Join in, or just sit back and absorb the peaceful music. This is a special treat that will slow your pace and remind you of the magic and history of the season.
Shhh, Don't Tell Anyone...
