Toledo, what are you doing on November 22? There is only one right answer, and that answer is "seeing Jerry Seinfeld!"

Jerry Seinfeld is bringing his standup tour to Toledo and will be performing at the Stranahan Theater on Friday, November 22 at 7pm. Tickets went on sale in mid-September and start at $48. You can buy your tickets online through this link or you can call the Stranahan Theater's box office at 419-381-8851 or 866-381-SHOW.

Obviously Jerry Seinfeld is best known for his long-running and self-titled sitcom in which he played a caricature of himself. The "show about nothing" ran for a decade and is still in syndication. You can also buy it on DVD.

After the show left the air, Jerry recorded a comedy special entitled "I'm Telling You for the Last Time" and went back on tour. The honing of that material is chronicled in the 2002 documentary Comedian. He has also published a few books, which are based on and include a lot of material from his various specials and tours.

He's appeared on TV very rarely - presenting an award for Best Documentary during the 79th Academy Awards, cameoing as himself on an episode of SNL hosted by SNL and Seinfeld alum Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and guest starring as himself during the 30 Rock episode "SeinfeldVision." He and the entire cast of Seinfeld reunited for an episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm in 2009.

In 2007, he made the leap to the big screen with Bee Movie and then in 2010 he returned to network TV with his short-lived stint as the host of The Marriage Ref before going back on tour in 2011.

In 2012, Jerry followed Louis CK and Marc Maron into the Internet Revolution (Louis CK is famous for selling his specials and tickets to his shows independently online, and Marc Maron is the creator and host of the wildly popular WTF podcast) by starting a web series called Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.

The series features Jerry picking up a comedian in a special car and then taking them out to get coffee. The series had 10 episodes in 2012, and it is rumored that the 2013 run will have 24 episodes. The series earned him an Emmy nomination.

His current tour has been well received by critics, and it is definitely an evening in which you will want to take part.
