Theatrical Adaptation of American Salvage

WHAT:
Owens students, staff and faculty will take the stage in an adaptation of Bonnie Jo Campbell’s American Salvage. For the first time, two of the book’s short stories “King Cole’s American Salvage” and “The Inventor, 1972” will be performed as theatrical works.

Campbell will join the actors and designers for an interactive post-performance discussion on the process of creating these pieces for both readers and spectators, Saturday, November 23.

Admission is $6 for community members and free for all Owens students, faculty and staff with a valid Express Card ID and can be obtained at the Center for Fine and Performing Arts box office thirty minutes before any performance.
