TOWER BRASS presents Spirit of Christmas Brassed
Nationally-known and Bowling Green-based brass ensemble The Tower Brass Quintet will offer two performances of their popular seasonal concert, Spirit of Christmas Brassed. On Sunday, December 8, the Tower Brass will perform at Community of Christ Lutheran Church, 6517 Finzel Rd. in Whitehouse. The quintet will also perform at Trinity United Methodist Church located at 200 N. Summit St. in Bowling Green on Tuesday, December 10, which will mark the Tower Brass’s 14th annual appearance there. Both concerts begin at 7:00 p.m. and there is no admission fee.
Christmas Brassed offers a full spectrum of holiday music, including classical and sacred music, brass ensemble arrangements of well-known traditional Christmas carols, and jazz renditions of popular tunes of the season. A preview of the concert can be heard on “Live from FM 91” at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 6.
