Lourdes University Choirs calling for new voices to join
Open to community members with rehearsals beginning January 22
The Lourdes University choral program, under the direction of Karen T. Biscay, is celebrating its 30th concert season and is welcoming new members and chorus alumni to join. 2014 Rehearsals begin on January 22 at 6 p.m. in the Franciscan Center. All voice types are welcome! The Lourdes choirs have performed in Ohio, Michigan, Ontario, Canada, England, and Hungary, singing in a wide variety of musical styles and collaborating with many other area choirs and instrumental ensembles.
On-campus Concerts for its 30th season are planned for February 26 and May 4. The Lourdes Chorus will also participate in the Toledo Symphony’s 70th Anniversary event on April 6 at the Huntington Center. The group will be part of the performance of Beethoven’s 9th Symphony with “a choir of 1,000 voices!”
