Owens Community College to Host Martin Luther King Jr. Day

Owens Community College will host its first Martin Luther King Jr. day of service to honor the memory of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. by serving the community. Students, faculty staff and administrators will spend a half-day of service with Cherry Street Ministries, Toledo Seagate Food Bank or the EnPuzzlement Warehouse. Volunteers will be preparing turkey dinners, preparing boxes for the Senior Nutrition Program and assisting with the relocation of the EnPuzzlement Warehouse.

The day of service will begin with a light breakfast and presentation and end with a pizza lunch. Space is limited and reservations are required.

Community members are welcome to volunteer.
