Carol Moody, 28 Year Anniversary at ProSweep
In today's work force, the idea of celebrating a 28 year anniversary at one workplace seems lofty, if not impossible. However on December 30th, 2013 Carol Moody at ProSweep did just that. In 1985 Carol started with ProSweep as a part-time office assistant, who tackled whatever office work was needed.
When asked about the changes that have taken place over the years, Carol easily recounts what it was like to work in the office in the early years and how different it is from today. "When I started, everything was 'done by hand'. The customer's monthly invoices were individually typed and route scheduling consisted of a board divided into squares with push pins representing the days of the month and little slips of paper with each job name. Now, of course, we have Eagle Eye Tracking to keep track of every aspect of the operation including scheduling, billing, payroll and all of the record keeping that is now more important than ever, both from a regulatory standpoint and from a liability standpoint that are simply part of a well-run, successful business. "
Carol has no immediate plans to retire, and is still very active in the office daily. In closing Carol wanted to say, "The years have gone by quickly and it has always been interesting to become acquainted with the many employees, some who have come and gone and others who have stayed on. It has been very gratifying to be a part of the growth and success of Progressive Sweeping."
