Launch Pad Cooperative announces an open call for writers
Launch Pad Cooperative is pleased to announce an open call to poets and writers for their monthly Featured Lines reading series. Are you a local poet or writer who would like the opportunity to share a collection of your works to a live audience? Over the last year and a half Featured Lines has showcased over a dozen talented local and regional writers who present an extended reading at the gallery. The series was recently highlighted in the Toledo Free Press article “101 ways to spend 101 days in Northwest Ohio.”
The aim of this reading series is to shine the spotlight on a single writer? providing them with the platform to present a body of work and the necessary time to engage and connect with the audience. Each presenter is given the freedom to decide what materials and anecdotes they wish to share, as well as the duration of the reading. All forms of poetry, along with short and flash fiction are eligible for submission.

1. 3-5 writing samples
2. Short biography
3. Resume including previous reading events, publications and other accolades related to your writing.
