"HELL" launches Kickstarter campaign in Toledo
Toledo, OH - Music, drama, dance, and art unite in a unique stage adaptation of Dante's "INFERNO."
Created and produced by WGTE's Brad and Jennifer Cresswell, "HELL" is a theatrical collage inspired by the medieval epic, in which three performers—a singer, a cellist, and a dancer—bring scenes from the original poem to life on stage, with vivid results.
"HELL" has enjoyed a successful run at both New York University and the Rubin Museum of Art (also in New York). Now the creators are bringing it to Toledo, and have launched a Kickstarter campaign to crowd-source a funding base. Within two days of launch, the "HELL" Kickstarter project was selected as a "Staff Pick" - an honor reserved for less than 10% of all projects (in fact, there are only 14 active theater projects from around the world that are currently "Staff Picks").
