In celebration of Theatre In Our Schools Month, Bowling Green State University’s Department of Theatre and Film, in partnership with the American Alliance for Theatre and Education, is holding a full-day conference on March 8, 2014 at the Wolfe Center for the Arts from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm for theatre artists and teachers. The conference offers numerous educational sessions designed to exchange ideas, best practices, and how-to’s in the field of theatre education. Teachers, K-12 students, theatre and/or education majors, and professional Theatre for Youth artists are encouraged to attend and share their ideas and experiences! Starting the day with a theatre games exchange and ending with a young playwright’s slam, this gathering will be beneficial for anyone invested in theatre education.

To register for the Ohio conference, go to www.AATE/OH. Day-of registrations are also accepted, and begin at 8:30 am. The cost is $30 per person, $25 for students/seniors. AATE members receive a $5 discount. For more information, call (419) 372-9466.
