Fremont Community Theatre Presents
Fremont Community Theatre and Director Pete Lowry, with special permission from Dramatists Play Service, Inc., are pleased to announce their upcoming production of “Rex’s Exes”, a Texas comedy by Jones, Hope and Wooten.
“Rex’s Exes” is a sequel to the beloved play “The Red Velvet Cake War,” which was presented at FCT in the spring of 2012. It continues the story of the Verdeen cousins Peaches and Jimmy Wyvette as they prepare to celebrate cousin Gaynelle’s 50th birthday with a surprise party. Instead of a big birthday party, though, they find themselves throwing a family funeral, when Peaches’ recently declared dead husband returns, followed by a bounty hunter and a jilted bride. You will find yourselves rolling with laughter as mixups and mayhem ensue!
Performances of “Rex’s Exes” will be held March 7-9 and 14-16 at Fremont Community Theatre, 1551 Dickinson Street in Fremont. Friday and Saturday performances are at 8:00 pm and Sunday matinee performances are at 2:00 pm. Tickets are $10 for seniors and students, and $12 for all others.
