Garden Smiles by Carruth is proud to announce the Spring Artist Signing event on April 26, 2014 from 10AM-5PM. Renowned artist and sculptor, George Carruth, will be available to sign his work, meet with visitors and swap stories about the origins of his designs and how they have been enjoyed over the years. All of George Carruth’s designs are original, handcast in stone, and proudly Made in America. !
George, and his wife Deborah Carruth, started Carruth Studio in 1983. Since that time, George's designs have appeared on the covers of more than thirteen garden and gift catalogs. Commissions include designs for the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C., a custom stone ornament for the White House Christmas tree, corporate gifts for Home and Garden Television and a public television documentary titled "George Carruth: American Sculptor". Larger installation pieces are mounted in an elementary school, public library, city clock tower and many private homes. !
Garden Smiles is their gallery and retail shop and is located in Waterville, Ohio. Garden Smiles offers George’s complete collection of over 250 original designs, as well as the "almost perfect" slightly blemished pieces sold at discounted prices.
