Workshop on Painting Animals to be at Toledo Artist’s Club
April 11-12, 2014
Fine Artist Nora Sallows is instructing painters on the finer points of painting animals April 11-12.2014 at the classroom facility of the Toledo Artists Club located in the Toledo Botanical Garden. The workshop is open to painters from beginners to experienced. They may work in watercolor, pastels or oils. The workshop runs both days 9am to 4pm. Cost is $ 100 per person. Nora Sallows is an accomplished artist from the Wauseon, OH area and enjoys teaching as well as producing artwork on animals and local landscapes. Her website is www.dancinglightstudio.com . Her work is represented at the Silver Lining Gallery in Waterville. OH.
The Toledo Artist Club hosts several workshops throughout the year open to both members and non members. The Toledo Artist Club brings artists from across the country to teach these workshops. Future workshop instructors include Chris Leeper, Vianna Sazabo, Paul Brand, Michael Chesley Johnson and John Trumbull.
The Artist”s Club also offers classes for adults and Children, Monthly exhibits and competitions are hung in the Gallery at the Artist’s Club based on different themes and media. The popular Toledo Artist’s Club auction will be held on April 5, 2014 6pm to 10 pm. at the Maumee Elks Club. The public is invited at this time to purchase works by well known Toledo area artists.
