Free showing of "Le Havre" at Way Library on April 18
Way Public Library concludes the tenth season of its Art and Foreign Film Series with “Le Havre,” released in 2011. In this visually beautiful and surprisingly heartfelt film, a kindly old bohemian who shines shoes for a living in the French harbor city of Le Havre takes up the plight of a young African refugee to prevent his deportation.
This French-language film (with subtitles) will be shown at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 18 in the Mercy Family Activity Room on the main level of the library. No reservations required.
