PMT holding 'The Music Man' auditions for children April 26
Perrysburg Musical Theatre to hold children’s auditions for ‘The Music Man’ April 26
Perrysburg Musical Theatre Company will be holding auditions for children on Saturday, April 26, for Meredith Willson’s “The Music Man.” Auditions will take place at St. Timothy’s Church, 871 E. Boundary St., Perrysburg, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. for ages 7 to 9, and from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. for ages 10 to 12. All participants in each group are required to stay the full 90 minutes.
Children’s vocal selections for auditions are available online at www.perrysburgmusicaltheatre.org, along with informational packets. Packets include materials and details on audition preparation and requirements; rehearsal scheduling; performances; a plot description and character listing; dates of invited callbacks, and an audition form and waiver contract to be completed, signed by parents/legal guardians, and brought with the participant the day of auditions.
Under the direction of Clark Ausloos and musical direction of Pamela Williams-Rumer, performances will be held at Perrysburg High School, 13385 Roachton Rd., Perrysburg, from July 31 through August 3. Thursday through Saturday shows begin at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m.
