Springtime at Schedel Gardens

A SPRINGTIME GARDEN WALK
Where: Elmore, Ohio, Walter Ory Park Gazebo
When: Saturday, May 10, 2014
What time: 9:00 to 1:00 pm for registration; finish by 4:00
What it is: 10K or 5K walk through the charming town of Elmore, a portion of the Buckeye Trail, and the lovely Schedel Gardens. Admission free for all on Schedel’s Community Day. There will be booths, activities, and flowers galore. Suitable for wheelchairs and strollers.
Who: EVERYONE is invited. Event is free, but all must register, sign a waiver, complete, carry and return a start card. No pets in Garden; okay elsewhere. Parking at Ory Park and across the street.

Directions: Elmore, Ohio is about 30 miles east of Toledo. From the north or south, take I-75 to I-80/90 East. Take Exit 81 (Hwy 51). Turn north to Elmore. Ory Park is one block off Hwy 51 (Toledo Street) and Rice Street. Turn right on Rice; right again on Ottawa. From SR23 and I-475, go to I-75 and continue as above. From the east, take I-80/90 west to Exit 81, and continue as above.
