First Ever Winter Brewfest
The inaugural Toledo Walleye Winter Brewfest will take place on Friday, January 2, 2015, at Fifth Third Field during the much anticipated Walleye Winterfest, presented by ProMedica.
This outdoor celebration of beer and winter gives both beer newbies and longtime enthusiasts the chance to try more than 250 beers from over 50 breweries, while enjoying live music on two stages as well as fun and games all across Fifth Third Field. Gates open at 6:30 p.m.
Mark the calendar-- Brewfest tickets go on sale, June 26, and will be available online for purchase at www.toledowalleye.com. Advanced tickets are $35 and $45 the day of the event. It includes 15 taste tickets for a 3-ounce beer sample. Additional taste tickets are available.
Hungry? The BirdCage, Hen & Hound and Gilhooley's Grille will be open during Brewfest for beer enthusiasts to get a hot bite to eat (before, during or after the event).
There is a special VIP ticket available for $55, which includes 20 taste tickets, grazing stations and exclusive special beer drafts. Doors open to VIP ticket holders at 5:30 p.m.
Toledo Walleye Winterfest is an exciting 10-day community celebration of winter coming to Fifth Third Field, December 26, 2014, through January 4, 2015, including the first two ECHL games ever to be played outdoors.
