Sylvania Community Arts Commission Summer Drama Workshop
Attention all singers, dancers, and most importantly actors, ages 10-18.
Ever dreamed of participating in a summer production workshop? Well now’s your chance. For the eighth year in a row, the Sylvania Arts Commission Theatre Department is offering a two-week summer production workshop in the Franciscan Center. “King Midas and the Golden Touch,” a new and vibrant musical, will be directed by our artistic director Irina Zaurov, MFA. Auditions will be held for non-alums and will be conducted by Ms. Irina. Please contact The Sylvania Community Theatre Department ASAP to reserve your spot. Anyone and everyone is invited to audition and join the workshop but, in the end, only 25 students will make the final cut. Come and join in on the fun and learn about what it really takes to put on an authentic theatre production.
