The Waterville Area Chamber of Commerce is seeking various participants for the 41st Annual
Roche de Boeuf Festival on Saturday, September 27 in downtown Waterville. Booth space is available
for food vendors, crafters, non-profit organizations and businesses. A Fine Arts Row (Rue de Artistes)
comprised of booths exclusively for artists is also a feature of the festival. Booth sizes are 10 feet X 12
feet; booth costs for non-profit organizations are $50, while booths for other entities begin at $75.
Booth registration forms are available on the Waterville Area Chamber of Commerce website at
www.watervillechamber.com.
?“The Roche de Boeuf Festival has been a well-attended event in Waterville for the past 40
years,” states Waterville Chamber Executive Director Corina Pfleghaar. The Festival name, Roche de
Boeuf, is the French translation meaning “Rock of Beef” or “Buffalo Rock,” which commemorates the
rock which is still present in the Maumee River area of Waterville, in which the Ottawa Indians used as a
staging ground for hunting and war times, as well as council grounds for peace treaties.
