Celebrate the Sylvania Avenue Mile August 9th

Toledo City Councilman Tom Waniewski would like to bring attention to the great local businesses in the Sylvania Avenue Mile (SAM) – that stretch of Sylvania Avenue between Douglas and Secor. He has arranged for local food trucks to serve up lunch at Deveaux Village at the corner of Douglas and Sylvania Avenue Saturday, August 9th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The food trucks will be in front of Horizon Science Academy. Stop by for lunch, then stop into any one of the great local businesses in the SAM. Here are the food vendors who’ll be participating:

-Wanderlust Sandwich
-Grumpy’s
-Kyf’s Curbside Bistro
-Slammin’ Sammies
-Displaced Chef

Also, look for the new banner flags along that stretch. Thanks to First Energy for their work to make this happen.
