TOLEDO, Ohio, August 13, 2014 — The 49th Annual German-American Festival is looking for volunteers who want to help out a charitable organization and have fun at the same time. In exchange for your time and efforts, volunteers will receive free admission to the festival for all three days, complimentary food and drinks and an unforgettable experience while helping keep German traditions alive.

“The German-American Festival is so successful each year thanks to the hard work and dedication of our volunteers,” said Timothy Pecsenye, festival chair. “Our volunteers help with everything from setting up activities, cooking food and serving beer, to working with entertainment, taking admission and performing clean up tasks. This year the most volunteers are needed in the big tent with the food booths.”
