Free screening of 'The Monuments Men' at Way Library on 1/14
Way Library’s Show Me the Movie contemporary film series starts off the new year with a free screening of ‘The Monuments Men’ on Wednesday, January 14 at 2:00 p.m. Based on the true story of the greatest treasure hunt in history, ‘The Monuments Men’ is an action drama set in Germany during World War II. It focuses on an unlikely platoon made up of museum directors, curators, and art historians with an impossible mission: rescuing artistic masterpieces from Nazi thieves behind enemy lines and returning them to their rightful owners. This 2014 release stars George Clooney (who also directed), Matt Damon, Bill Murray, Cate Blanchett, and John Goodman.
