Toledo Ballet to Host February 21st Open House in New Studios
Toledo Ballet invites the public to tour its new studios Saturday, February 21, 2015 from 11 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. The new studios, located next to Hobby Lobby at 5327 Monroe St., feature four state-of-the-art studios and nearly double the space it had at Franklin Park Mall.
Visitors will have the opportunity to:
-Meet and speak with Artistic Director Lisa Mayer
-View classes
-Catch a sneak peek at a rehearsal of their March 28 & 29 spring production of Alice in Wonderland
Coupons for free classes will be issued to new students at the event, and refreshments will be served.
The 76 year-old dance organization’s new facility will enable it to explode its curriculum to include more than a dozen different kinds of dance forms as well as fitness programs for the dancer and non-dancer alike. In addition to its extensive cornerstone curriculum of classical ballet, Toledo Ballet will offer adult classes, jazz, tap, modern, hip hop, contemporary fusion, acting, voice, Broadway-style jazz, ballroom, Zumba, pilates, yoga and more.
