All Guitar Enthusiasts Invited to TSA on Saturday
SCHOOL HOSTS ANNUAL GUITARFEST OPEN TO ALL AGES
TOLEDO, OH - Toledo School for the Arts will hold its annual GuitarFest this Saturday, April 25th. Guitar Fest is a special event celebrating all things guitar that will feature clinics, equipment vendors, prizes and a raffle for a Larry Wagner hand-made, custom electric guitar. The event is open to the public, and players of all ages and skill levels are welcome.
Special guests include Rick Zeithaml, Aayan Naim, Joe Boes, Don & Grant Flick, Ken Zuercher, Gary Seger, Kerry Clark and Uncle Lewie. The group of professional musicians, which includes TSA artistic staff, will be running workshops covering a large variety of guitar topics and techniques. Guests will be invited to master the crafts of rock, blues, jazz and bluegrass, or perfect the art of alternate tuning, playing the pedal steel guitar, songwriting or bass jamming, among other offerings.
“This is a great event for all musicians, no matter their age, to come share ideas and their love of music,” expressed event coordinator and TSA private instructor, Randall Sobel.
GuitarFest is $20 for adults and $15 for students and will take place on Saturday, April 25th from 10am to 2pm at Toledo School for the Arts (333 14th St., Toledo, OH 43604). Registration may be done online at tsaguitarfest.eventbrite.com or at the door. A lunch will be available for purchase.
