Free showing of "Still Alice" at Way Library

Way Library’s Show Me the Movie contemporary film series selection for August is “Still Alice,” a drama released in 2014. “Still Alice” is the story of linguistics professor Dr. Alice Howland and her struggle to deal with the devastating effects of Early-onset Alzheimer’s Disease. For Alice, the alarming loss of words signaled the inevitable loss of her entire identity. For her family, it meant facing challenges they never envisioned.
Julianne Moore won the Oscar for Best Actress in a Leading Role for playing the part of Alice.
Showtime is at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 5. This is a free presentation for adults only, and refreshments will be served. Way Library’s Show Me the Movie series is sponsored by Skotynsky Financial Group.
